1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how the Konote app (iPhone and Apple Watch) and this website handle data. Provider: One Click Growth LLC ("we"), [mailing address], California, USA.

2. We don't collect your recordings or app content

Konote has no account system and no servers of ours. We do not collect, store or see your recordings, transcripts, summaries or other content. The app contains no ads, analytics or third-party tracking.

3. Data processed on your device

The app creates and keeps the following on your device, and does not send it to us: recordings, transcripts, summaries, markers, your vocabulary list, and your answers to the first-run questions. Recordings and text are excluded from iCloud Backup.

If you use several devices, the app encrypts the data first and stores it in your own iCloud account, held by Apple under its privacy policy; we cannot read it.

4. Network connections made by the app

Model download: Konote downloads the files it needs for transcription, summaries and speaker labels from Apple. The download service receives ordinary connection information (such as IP address) and handles it under its own privacy policy.
Recorded parts travel between your watch and iPhone over Apple's connection.
App Store purchases, the trial and refunds are handled by Apple.
If you opt in to "Share with App Developers" in your device settings, Apple may provide crash reports to us; these do not include your recordings or text. [lawyer to confirm wording]

5. Data you choose to share

When you export, share to another app or service, or turn on saving notes to a folder you choose, the data goes to the recipient you choose and its terms apply; that is outside this policy.

6. Retention and deletion

Data stays on your device until you delete it. Deleted items go to Recently Deleted first and are deleted permanently after 30 days; you can delete them permanently sooner. Copies you have exported or shared are not affected. Removing the app removes its data from that device.

7. Your rights

We don't hold your recordings or app content, so most access, correction or deletion requests can be done directly in the app. The personal data we may hold is limited to what you send us by email, ordinary website access logs, and crash reports Apple shares with us if you opt in (sections 4, 9 and 10). 8. Children

9. This website

10. Emails you send us

If you write to our support or privacy address, we receive your email address and your message and use them only to reply. We delete them after [retention period].
