Your recordings and notes pass only through Apple. There’s no account to create, and Konote has no servers that could receive your audio.

Record
The recording goes from your watch to your iPhone over Apple’s own watch connection.

Transcribe, summarize, search
In the current version, all of this runs on this iPhone. A future version may make draft summaries with Apple’s Private Cloud Compute instead. Recordings and notes are stored here and left out of iCloud Backup.

Encrypted sync
Konote encrypts first, then stores it in your own iCloud so your other Apple devices can see it.

Export or share
Your recordings and notes go to another app or service only when you send them there: by exporting, sharing, or turning on saving notes to a folder you choose.
Because recordings are left out of iCloud Backup, they aren’t restored if you reset or replace your iPhone. Export anything you want to keep, including the audio.
When Konote uses the network
- Speech-recognition files
- Konote downloads the files it needs for transcription, summaries and speaker labels from Apple.
- Watch to iPhone
- Recordings travel from your watch to your iPhone over Apple’s watch connection.
- iCloud
- When syncing, encrypted data is stored in your own iCloud account. Konote can’t read it.
- When you share
- If you export, share, or turn on saving notes to a folder, the app or service you chose receives that data and its own terms apply.
What Konote doesn’t do
- No account and no sign-in.
- No Konote servers. Konote has no access to your recordings or notes.
- No ads, no analytics and no tracking in the app.
- Konote doesn’t use your recordings or notes to train AI.
What you control
- Delete: select recordings in the list and delete them. They stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, where you can restore them or delete them for good sooner.
- Export: save any conversation as plain text, a formatted note or a WAV audio file.
- Remove the app: its recordings and notes are removed from this iPhone with it.
This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking, and it hosts its own fonts. The web host may keep ordinary access logs (such as IP address and time) for operations and security.
