Tell us your iPhone and Apple Watch models, their iOS and watchOS versions, and roughly when the problem happened.
My watch recording isn’t on my iPhone
- Open Konote on your iPhone at least once after installing it.
- Keep your watch and iPhone connected: Bluetooth on, or both on the same Wi‑Fi.
- Open Konote on your iPhone. Anything that hasn’t arrived yet keeps transferring. Your watch keeps each part until your iPhone has it.
- Make sure Konote can use the microphone: on your watch, Settings › Privacy & Security › Microphone.
Transcription seems stuck
- The first time, Konote downloads its speech-recognition files. Use Wi‑Fi for this.
- Transcription runs on your iPhone while Konote is open, so long meetings take a while. The list shows “Transcribing” and the progress.
- If you chose “Fastest” in Settings › Advanced › Recognition quality and a part is in a language it doesn’t support yet, switch to “Most accurate”.
Export a conversation
- Open the conversation.
- Tap Export at the bottom, then choose where to save or share it.
Delete and restore
- In the list, swipe left or right on a recording to select it (and any others), then tap Delete.
- Deleted recordings stay in Recently Deleted, at the bottom of the list, for 30 days. Restore them there, or delete them for good sooner.
Known issues as of October 16, 2026
- With “Fastest”, a part in a language it doesn’t support yet isn’t transcribed. Switch to “Most accurate”.
- With the app in English, the iPhone microphone permission prompt still appears in Chinese. A fix is in progress.
